1. Wil Tunnell, Architect, WTArchitecture

Designs for the Crook Inn Café, Bunkhouse and Campsite

Hear how the Phase One plans will both serve the community and promote tourism.

Funded by SSE Clyde Borders Community Fund, Glenkerie Community Fund and Scottish Borders Council.

 

2. Paul Jardine, Managing Director of Jura Consultants

Business Plans and Funding

Paul will outline the possibilities for funding the TCC's ambitious plans.

Funded by the Scottish Government Strengthening Communities Programme.

 

3. Bruce Clarke, Community Development Officer

Strengthening our Community

Bruce will explain how he sees the role he has recently taken on to support the Tweedsmuir community.

Funded by the Scottish Government Strengthening Communities Programme.


The AGM

There will be a short AGM of the TCC (approx. 20 mins)

The TCC is keen to encourage members to stand for election as directors and for new members to join.

Nominations of Directors to the Board of the TCC

Nominations shall be in writing by not less than any two Ordinary Members delivered to Dr Duncan Davidson, Chairperson, Oliver, Tweedsmuir, Biggar, ML12 6QN by 20th October by letter or email and the nominee shall confirm his or her willingness to act as an Elected Director if elected.
